Introduction Abigail Hayhurst

Hi, my name is Abigail Hayhurst.  I live in Bridgeport, WV.  I graduated this past December with my Bachelors in Elementary Education.  I am currently working as a substitute teacher in Taylor County.  I am working towards my Masters in Digital Media.  I chose this program for my Masters because I believe technology is very important in education, and it is something that I will always use in my classroom.  Right now my favorite technology tool is the IPad.  During my student teaching last semester I learned about so many useful apps to use in the classroom from my host teacher.

    Abigail - I hope you will share some of your favorite apps with the class. When I go to just browse what is available, I am overwhelmed. I really appreciate recommendations from people I know who have "field-tested" apps, particularly apps you can use in your teaching. Welcome to the class!

    Looking back now Digital Media would be an excellent choice for education majors. Every thing will soon be digital moving away from paper books.
